Our vision is to see Buckingham Industrial Group (BIG) become a hotbed for innovation and ethical change for the
Continent of Africa, possibly even the World.

While a return on investment remains the essential indicator of demand for a
commercial company’s goods and services, and therefore needs to be maintained,
today’s requirements demand that it goes well beyond simply maximising profits for its
shareholders.
Accordingly, Buckingham Industrial Group (BIG) sees itself as serving the needs of not only its client groups, but also
the environment, the local community and ultimately those of the planet. And,
importantly, it aims to provide its employees with balanced, fairly rewarded lives and
amenities. To achieve this, BIG will be guided by the standards set for BIG Corps
(beneficial corporations) (see the coloured column in the table below) and will invite
external audits to ensure that these are achieved and maintained -

To create and support projects that demonstrate that a values-driven approach to
business can be effective and reflects tomorrow’s requirements.

While a well thought out and presented business plan represents the cornerstone of
any project, (BIG) commences its evaluation of a project by checking whether it is
compatible with BIG’s ethos and business philosophy, and – importantly – whether
welcomed by the local community. The coloured column in the following table
summarizes BIG’s checklist –

Details of projects under active development or discussion will be released here when
sufficiently advanced.
Given the increasingly evident challenges presented to this already arid region, priority
projects all fall within the UN guidelines for sustainable development, with emphasis
on agriculture, aquaculture and healthcare.
Any project taken into NDC’s development portfolio will be assured of advantageous
funding permitting each project development team to focus on delivering excellence.
All projects are either wholly owned by an NDC subsidiary, or have been formed in joint
venture with partners willing to embrace NDC’s ethos and business philosophy,
